Firstnet’s services are delivered from our redundant network core in London over fixed Wide Area Network [WAN] circuits. The type and size of these circuits varies depending on the number of simultaneous calls you need into each site. All calls utilise Voice over IP [VoIP] technology and use approximately 40k of bandwidth each. In this way a 1MB leased line will provide 25 simultaneous calls – equivalent to 25 channels on a BT ISDN30 circuit.
